sick, ick....st. nick?

Here are some of the latest items being added to the online shop this week. Thanks again to all my beautiful customers who came to my studio shopping hours Monday and Tuesday evening. You guys are magical! I'm starting new Christmas shopping hours. Every Tuesday from now until Christmas the studio will be open from 5-8pm. Complimentary gift wrapping is a bonus! 

 Outfit posts are being put on the back burner probably until next week. I am sitting in slouchy pj's, comfy knit sweaters, and polka dot undies. Can you guess it? I am sick with a horrible sore throat. Enjoy some of my latest creations. Christmas and St. Nick are coming soon and now Hattitude is offering Gift Certificates in an monetary amount. Happy days! I wore this dress to the SHARE dinner and dance function. It's a handmade dress that I picked up at a thrift store. I've been taking a sewing class so of course I've been looking over all the hems, and stitches and seeing how it was all constructed together. The coat is from another vintage store. The scarf is a nice autumn leaf print scarf from my mom's closet. 

The charity event we went to on Saturday was for the SHARE foundation which helps farmers in third world countries in sending them farming aid. My grandfather was one of the founders. It's a really great organization, doing a lot of good for a lot of people in different parts of South America. I was proud we all went and had a 'cousins' table.

Tomorrow and Tuesday are my studio shop hours. Come on by the studio in Caledon from 5-8pm if you want to get Hattified to beat the November blahs.

Tonight is my studio shop hours in Caledon. You can view my online shop by clicking here. These photos were taken last week at my place in London. I took them up on the rooftop around sunset. It's not THE best sunset we've seen up there. I was a little late getting to it, but it's still pretty beautiful.  It's gotten quite chilly since these were taken. I'm sitting here in a wool sweater with a blanket wrapped around me. Enjoy the last of the autumn leaves for winter sucks them up!

Have you carved your pumpkin for Halloween yet? I don't even have a costume idea yet. Aye yai yai!

Hattitude studio shop hours are now open! 

The first Tuesday and Wednesday of every month. Today and tomorrow you can check out the new studio, where all the designing happens, and browse the jewellery before it hits the online store! Happy summer shopping!

Studio Hours and a free goodie!

 I've been busy working away on a new studio space in my apartment so I can open up 'store hours' once a month. The first Tuesday and Wednesday of the month is when you will be able to come browse the new jewels in person. Touch them, try them, and bring your favourite outfit to match with the jewels!

This outfit was taken a week ago. I was out painting yesterday afternoon. My mom found an old stand up silverware drawer, for $5 at a garage sale this summer, that resembles a stand up jewellery box. It's about 4 feet high and has 4 drawers and a lift up lid to keep all your jewellery in a stand. Perfect for when I move to London and want to keep the dust off of my jewels. 

I was painting it a cream colour, and painting is not my forte...I had it all over  me by the end of the day. I wouldn't want to bore you with a shot of my painting attire, no matter how cool it was (tie dye shirt and all).

For the summer, I've started introducing New studio shop hours. The first Tuesday and Wednesday of every month from 4-8pm you'll be able to come and view the Hattitude collection in person and see where I work. Entry is by the Hattitude mailbox studio door.

It's suppose to be 38 degrees today with the humidity! I've allowed myself two days off of Hattitude since my show(finally got my taxes done!).. so I'll probably find a pool to frolick in today, and get back to work tomorrow...or maybe Thursday :)
