Here she is ladies and gentlemen, my brand new electronic sewing machine! I am so so so excited to start using this baby. What are some of your tips for a first time sewer. I'll have to start sewing away on it tomorrow....can you tell what everyone's christmas presents are going to be this year?
I start a dressmaking course on monday for three months at the college here in London, Ontario, super excited for that!

Wow, that is a nice one! A dress-making course sounds wonderful! I wish there was some sort of weekend thing around here I could do to learn some more. I'll keep relying on the internet for now!

My mom owns a Singer (although not that model) and it's a really good sewing machine. I can't wait to see what you'll sew! Best of luck and have tons of fun with it! =)

Here's what I have learned along the way... read and watch videos about everything and anything sewing related. I have these two books in particular that are like sewing crack. I will find links for you! and two practice on old sheets and scrap fabric first. a favorite saying. THINK TWICE, CUT ONCE! good luck! JENI LEIGH
