mustard fall jackets

What I wore
Rings: Gifts, flea markets
Jacket: Club Monaco
Skirt: Winners
Scarf: Clothing Swap
Sweater: Winners
AH! I'm back to the ol' curly hair. It's fun having straight hair for a few days. Do you have a hair style you only do once in a blue moon that changes your look so drastically that sometimes people don't recognize you? ha

I've been trying to scout out areas around my new place in London, Ontario, of where I can shoot my outfits, and jewellery from my shop come the winter months! London, Ontario is RIGHT in the snow belt...meaning a TON of snow. I won't be able to take photos outside as easily as I did last winter when I was out in Vancouver. I hope I don't freeze a chilly freeze this winter!

Unfortunately you can't see my jewellery due to the fact that it was too cold. Check it out in my online shop by clicking here.

I'm in love with this mustard jacket. As most of you know mustard is my favourite colour. I almost had my mom convinced to paint the colours of the cottage mustard grey and white. Trust me...they all go fantastic together in a room. Check out the bedroom below. I just LOVE it. What's your favourite colour palette?

  1. Hattie, I absolutely love your new blog design! it looks great! and so do you. :) this outfit is wonderful.
I'm a fellow fan of mustard, but I think my favourite palette includes navy + burgundy somehow.

  2. Loooove it so much, amazing look and amazing pictures! =)

  3. The colour of your jacket is so nice. It definitely brightens up a gloomy day :-)

  4. I love the colour of your jacket! :)

  5. Mustard is my absolute favourite colour for fall!! I am in love with this jacket, it's gorgeous and so so pretty with the pleated skirt.

  6. I am OBSESSED with mustard right now! I guess my palette of choice would be mustard, cream and burgundy right now. You hair is beyond fabulous girl, straight or curly!

  7. you've inspired me to love mustard~

  9. That mustard jacket is beyond fabulous Hattie! I don't have enough mustard in my closet right now and I have been scouting out thrift stores left and right for that one special piece. I love the scarf too but oh my goodness - it's that cold in Canada already? It's supposed to hit over 70 degrees in PA today!

The mustard door in that room is awesome! I'm all over the place when it comes to liking various color palettes. Right now I've been wanting to paint my guest room in a jade green and have mustard color accents. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Have a lovely day Hattie! xo Marisa

  10. Fortunately or unfortunately, however your look at it, I don't have a hairstyle that can drastically change my look depending on which way I style it. My hair is just blah that I throw into a bun.

My color palette is constantly changing. Every day, every week, and every season. I used to wear all black a couple years ago. Now I laugh at my once-thought-I-was-super-cool trend.

  11. gawd i love your curly hair- it's so playful and flirty. and yesss mustard! it's such a fun color, i love how you built your outfit around it. and cute skirt- i just thrifted one like it :)

  12. That jacket looks SO good on you! I almost thrifted a mustard long blazer-jacket thing yesterday but it had a stain I didn't think I could get out, I was so bummed! Yellow grey and white is my favorite color combo! (If you could not tell from my blog... haha. My whole bedroom is in that color scheme too (I used that same picture in my bedroom inspiration post ages back)! I have been meaning to do a room post, but...since I run my vintage shop from my room, its always quite cluttered!
Anyway, I hope you are having a beautiful day and i LOVE this whole outfit!
    xo Hannah

  13. An A-MAZING look for you. That color is just fantastic for you and the cut is great too.
