moonrise kingdom

We saw Moonrise Kingdom this weekend and went out for Sushi on Friday night, date night.
Have you seen Moonrise kingdom, the new Wes Anderson film?
It was strangely romantic, wonderfully whimsical and absolutely fabulous.
I love the era it's in, of course, being a 60's loving girl. It's just such a beautiful, well done movie. Very avant garde and artsy. We had to search for a movie theatre that was playing it. If it's playing near you, and you love Wes Anderson films (Royal Tenenbaums, Life Aquatic, Fantastic Mr. Fox) you'll really enjoy this young love story. He's so quirky in his directing.

Thanks again to everyone who came out and supported the pop up show on Saturday. www.GotHattitude.com. I still have a number of awesome pieces left over, so I've been toying with the idea of Etsy. Has anyone else been on etsy? What do they think of it? I know as a customer of Etsy (I buy ALL my christmas presents on that site) I love it...but wondering what it's like from a store's perspective.

  1. Hi, Hattie! I'm coming from Marisa's blog. Just wanted to say hi and wish you a great week. Also, you must be a very brave person to have endured a transplant! Oh, and I also love your style and music taste ;).

  5. This really is too cute for words Hattie! That photo of you and your kitty is heart melting:) You are a genius at accessorizing and putting together the perfect outfit I swear! I love how all your scarves and jewelry bring out the best in everything you wear.

Cheers to a successful pop up show! I love Etsy as both a buyer and seller. Since opening shop in March, I've been quite pleased with the listing process, and checkout, and fees and such. Prior to that I was selling modern and vintage on Ebay since 2001 and have since switched over b/c I really feel at this point Ebay does not have their seller's backs anymore between the outrageous fees and poor customer service - not to completely bag on them, but Etsy is just so much more seller friendly:)
