Water for Elephants

I saw Water for Elephants premiere last night at the Rom...melt [Robert Pattinson]. It is one of my favourite books, so maybe I am biased as to why I enjoyed the film so much.

Everyone needs to see the movie just for the pure pleasure of seeing the circus for what is used to be in the 30's.

I saw cirque de soleil a few summers ago, and was sitting on the edge of my seat...but I'm a vintage girl through and through and loved every moment of watching this 30's projection of circus and film on the screen. [I also wanted to wear every high waisted trouser and silk evening gown outfit Reese Witherspoon sported - minus the leotard ones]

Best performance goes to August, the owner of the Benzini Brothers 1930's circus. He was spectacular.
