What does a behind the scenes wedding photo shoot look like?

A farm, baby piglets, a pony and a baby lamb?! Who wouldn't want to participate in a creative wedding shoot involving those amazing animals and a beautiful apple blossoms orchard. I was asked to participate with an awesome group of vendors a few weeks ago on Steckle Heritage Farm for a stylized wedding shoot.

We had the whole nine yards, twin flower girls, a pregnant bridesmaids, a beautiful bride and groom and even a little ring bearer. The weather was suppose to rain, but we were so blessed and the weather held out for us as the bride stood in amongst the orchard blossoms and the horse cooperated (almost) with our bride, while the littlest black baby lamb cuddled his way into the arms of the bride.

I am so excited to see the final photos as they are sure to be stunning. You might be asking what does a behind the scenes wedding editorial shoot look like? Below are some sneak peeks from our adventures that day. Here's a list of the vendors involved and their sites.

I love these new jeans I got at the clothing swap this weekend. Every year me and my girlfriends have a clothing swap. We bring clothes we're sick of or don't want anymore and we all swap! Sometimes you find some real gems! Isn't the flare fun? The shoes are another gift from Christmas from the spanish clothing company KLING. They're genuis in their work.

Ah Mondays! I've never been so busy as I am then this Monday. I have so many brides I'm trying to finish up as well as other people's custom work. The Hattitude studio is a bomb shell right now as I busily try to get all the jewellery orders out on time.

If you have not browsed my wedding boutique. Take a look. Click here. Please recommend me to anyone looking for custom jewellery to give their bridesmaids or for themselves. www.etsy.com/shop/hattitudejewels

favourite winter time dress

Outfit Details:
Dress: Banana Republic
Belt: Vintage
Sweater: Thrifted
Tights: The Bay
Boots: Thrifted
Scarf: Vintage
Necklace/bracelets: Hattitude jewellery

I love this dress. It's such a great winter time wear. It's warm, the perfect length and looks rustic chic. It has a bit of pink in the tweed so I love picking that up with the coral sweater and accenting it with the jewelry. Do you have a favourite winter time outfit?
I Hattified this outfit with some rockin' gems, some killer leg warmers and kickin' hair bow. It's all in the bow eh? I love how much volume it gives my hair. Bigger the better, no?

This week I've been working away. I've got a ton of new jewellery being added to the online shop this weekend. I've been working away on my spring/summer collection.

Are you ready for the Oscars this Sunday?

Outfit Details:
Sweater: Vintage, Sentimentalist, London, ON
Jean Shirt: Joe Fresh
Skirt: Vintage, Chez Thrift, Bolton, ON
Tights: The Bay

Gosh I love this sweater. It's so feminine and springy looking, no? I love the little details of the flowers. One thing it's not the warmest sweater. There's no wool in it. I try to wear it on little warmer winter days (is that an oxymoron?). I finally found a denim shirt that fits! All I had to do was go grocery shopping (on a girls weekend up north!) to find it at Joe Fresh. Was it strange buying my fruits and veggies and clothes as well? A little. But hey, if I can shop AND get my groceries...I'm a happy lady.

Have you been keeping up on all your oscar movies? I'm so far behind! One year I saw all of them. The Oscars are my favourite time of year, mainly because it's become a tradition with my girlfriends and I to get together, dress to the nines, eat some treats and play some Oscar bingo.
Do you have a tradition with your friends you adore? Valentines day? Easter? I love hearing other people's traditions!

how to wear wool sweaters

Outfit Details:
Skirt: Vintage
Belt: Clothing swap
Sweater: Thrifted
Shirt/Dress: F21

I love this outfit. Especially how warm it is!  The skirt and sweater are wool and the shirt is actually a dress keeping me extra warm tucked in! I think this necklace is precious as well. It's so oldie timey and I just love the way it was designed. Click here to see my other items from my shop.

I've been hearing wedding bells all week. I'm really excited. I've been working away on an Etsy wedding shop, where I'm displaying all my beautiful jewelry for bridesmaids and bridal parties. You can check it out by clicking here.

We have been going out for London licious every night it feels like. Blowing our eating out budget for January and February. Londonlicious is a take off of winterlicious in Toronto. All the local restaurants put on a special menu that is only $30 for a 3 course meal so you can get to try every restaurant that normally you would not try. It's a really great idea.

Tonight we are off to see Lincoln. Just another film to check off the list of Oscar Nominations. Have a great Tuesday!
