Modern Family was a re-run last night! Gah all the seasons are coming to an end. I was working all day and late evening, so thank goodness for pre-recorded TV. I wish it was not called PVR, how boring compared to the states named, Tivo. So much more cuter, and don't we all love a little cuteness in our lives?

Yesterday I went thrift store hunting in Guelph. Got so many wonderful pieces to start building my new collection! Remember 20% of my sales this month is going towards Red Cross to help aid Japan. 

I have 100 more pages to read before book club tonight! We are reading The Red Tent, by Anita Diamant. My brothers and sisters marathon has had to be put on hold. 

I started 'spring cleaning' out my closet for the clothes swap next saturday! My closet is over flowing. Can't wait to get rid of some stuff! (and of course swap for a few new pieces! ha)

I'm currently working on a charm bracelet for a first communion. The bracelet is based upon a young girl and religion. It's turning out to be really lovely. If you want to talk about custom work give me an email!

When I was younger, I used to go to a zoo where you could stand so close to the cage, about 10 feet from the lions, tigers, cheetahs and jaguars. My favourite memories, beside the cotton candy machines, the talking parrots on your shoulder, the ginormous butter milk snakes trainers trying to get you to hold them (are they NUTS), was hands down funniest memory when my brother got PEED on through the fence by a TIGER.

The tiger thought he was a threat to her cubs (he was like 8 at the time....real scary tough 8 year old though! :S oy) It was like a fire hose had been turned on and shot out the fence. Pee Spray everywhere. It was a smelly rest of the zoo walk, and an even smellier ride home.

That a brand new 15 inch macbook pro fits inside this lovely case. She came in the mail today. She is a beaut. She looks stunningly gorgeous inside, beside, upside down, turned around, anyway with this laptop bag.

The pleasure I am getting from having a new computer (My mac computer of 6 years called it quits on me) is almost as good as stumbling across a piece of old jewellery and getting a jolt of "wow this is fabulous and needs to worn today." oh my goodness. I. am. ecstatic.

Absolutely frigid again today, but the sun could not be brighter!

Sitting in the apartment cranking up the shoddy gas fireplace, that probably will have to be replaced next winter! There is still snow, and it's still freezing so alas. I bundled up...wool wool wool and more wool.  Feel a little like a sheep... but hopefully a well dressed sheep ha 

Elizabeth Taylor died yesterday. I listened to a lot about her on the radio and think I might pick up her autobiography. Married 8 times? That alone could be a book, let alone all the other conundrums and antidotes in her life

 I didn't even make myself a hot chocolate to enjoy the snowed in day. Oy. What was I thinking? What else did we used to do as little children on snow days. Build forts in the snow?
