Yes those are knee socks and yes i broke those babies out. Don't tell me you haven't been thinking about it, with this unusually warm weather we've been having for November! Plus don't they look edgy chic?

Chickita banana's I'm going to see Couer De Pirate (or Peeee raa) as my friend, the recently made french teacher, K made me re pronounce it. I'm extremely school girl giddy (but in all seriousness when am I not school girl giddy?) about friday night. C and C (concert, city) night!

wooly skirts, and grandma's sweaters

Shirt: Winners
Cardigan: Vintage store in Guelph
Belt: Mothers
Necklace: Hattitude
Rings: Flea Market
Skirt: Chez Thrift

It turned chilly again! I was in Quebec for the last couple days, on a little family vacation in Montebello (longest car ride of my life) Beautiful weather though...seriously 16 degrees in November? Unheard of. But I like it. I dig it.

Couer De Pirate tickets are on sale. She's playing a few shows in Canada, lucky me, it's close by! Have you ever checked her out? She's beautiful, and very fitting since I just came from Quebec where it seemed all we tried to do was imitate and speak French. http://www.coeurdepirate.com/

I started playing in a volleyball league! I know...me playing volleyball? Sacre bleu! Tonight we are down two girls. Time to pull up my socks and bring my a-game. In all seriousness, I'm probably the worst player. But what I lack for in skill, I make up for in enthusiasm.
the girls on the v-ball team!

I like my cowboy boots, like I like my friends. Chic, babe, comfy, and ready to kick some butt.

But seriously...
I cannot stop wearing these boots, even though they are a size too big for me, they were in my mamasieta's closet. My solution: go to shoe store, and get inserts. The outcome; they are so much more comfortable! walked for hours today in them!

Did anyone see Modern Family last night? I have it PVR'ed so I will have to watch it tonight. Totally crushing (in a non gross/creepy way) think phil is the cats fiddle. He's hilarious.

A friend in New Zealand shared this goodie of a song with me. It's just TOO good not to share with the blogospher. It is also a bunch of pure Canadian awesomeness rolled in to one song. He is from Bedouin Soundclash and she's uber adorable and from another band Couer de Pirate, from montreal. AWESOME. I think I have a hardcore girl crush on her she is super talented and pretty.
