I was offered to do a review for Kensie clothing and I was thrilled to do one! I must say I am very happy with this beach cover up. I LOVE that is has sleeves on it to protect me from the sun. It is light and comfortable and I think looks great with all my bright bathing suits. I am just so impressed with this cover up. It's really lovely. I like the details of the tied bow on the legs, the pocket and I just seriously love how it has longer sleeves instead of straps to help keep me sun protected. It's so hard to find beach cover ups that have sleeve caps on them.

This is what happens when three friends get together and the sun is setting perfectly at the beach....we decide to have a photo shoot. A cottage sunset photo shoot! 

This past weekend was a weekend filled with swimming, laughing, smells of bonfire, delicious food, sandy hair, and flea market finds. How was your weekend? I hope you got to enjoy this beautiful weather we have been having!

I thought my neighbours farm field was the perfect place to take this photo since this outfit reminds me of a farm girls dress. It reminds me of Little House on the prairie a little. My boyfriend bought me it last week at a local thrift store in London, Ontario and I've been living in it ever since. It just is so easy to wear. I love it with a little yellow anchor necklace that I handmade from a vintage brooch. Summer is still here after all! 

My neighbours are the sweetest people and have a huge sunflower field and a beautiful wheat field. I was scouting out locations for my wedding creative shoot, that they have graciously allowed me to shoot in their backyard, that I am organizing for tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait for the shoot! I'm so excited to make some beautiful photos and create a love story through images. I am working with the very talented Samantha Hurley of samanthahurleyimaging.com photography.

I love my hair bow. I think these hair bows are the perfect thing to throw on to complete an outfit. You know me, I am always one to accesorize rather then spend a fortune on a dress. I like to spend my money on accessorizing and I think hair clips and jewelry are the perfect item to do just that with. 

It's been over a year I think since I posted a give away. This necklace is a faux leather bow tie, with a heart shaped pendant and an old vintage gold button on the necklace. I love this necklace. It's VERY unique and I usually get a lot of compliments on it. 

As for socks...Do you like the sock look that's been trending on the blogs lately? I love wearing knee highs or fun ankle socks! My boyfriend bought me some awesome socks, hamburger and french fries in love...pardon? AMAZING. I can't wait to sport them on the blog to show you. We had a lovely day walking around downtown where we live since he got the day off of work and it just so happened to turn into a BEAUTIFUL day. 

I hope you all have been enjoying your summers. It's been a few weeks since I've last posted. Summer time is SO busy. I went to two weddings last weekend. One of my second cousins got married and my boyfriend's sister got married. They were two of the most beautiful weddings. It really was a lovely lovely time.

caledonstock 2013

Here's some photos from Caledonstock. It's an outdoor music fundraiser to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. There was a prize for best dressed hippie and other fun games while listening to bands all night long! Samantha Hurley is SO talented and I feel very luck to be doing a wedding creative with her the middle of August this year. I'm super excited to shoot with her and add more photos to our portfolio!

I've had a busy last few days, saying good bye to my child hood best friend, Crystal as she continues her travels around the world. She has been gone for five years and plans to be gone for another two! I miss her dearly. She got married last weekend and I was lucky enough to stand up beside her as her third bridesmaid with her two sisters. I bawled tonight when I had to say good bye to her. She is off to singapore so hopefully I will get to visit her!
