custom bracelets

I'm currently in the process of making lots of custom orders! Check out my shop by clicking here.

The above bracelet is 1 of 5 custom pieces I designed. For 5 women all turning 30 this year, I made custom bracelets. It was a birthday gift from one of the ladies. She gave me all their favourite colours, and I started designing!

Do you have a special occasion coming up? Have a favourite outfit that doesn't have an accessories to go with it? I can custom make you something you'll love!

Today is a glorious sunny day, so as soon as I'm finished up here, I think I shall head out in to the world. I've been stuck inside the past few days working away and watching the rain fall.

when I grow up, I wanna be a ballerina

Skirt: Vancouver Blogger sale, via the Doctors closet
Tights: Urban Outfitters
Shirt: Urban Outfitters
Sweater: Thrifted, Guelph
Jacket: Thrfited, Bolton, Chez Thrift
Belt: Mom's
Necklace: Hattitude Jewellery
Bracelets: Hattitude custom charm bracelet

How this outfit came to be Hattified: I got this skirt at the blogger sale two weeks ago. I love the tutu style. I started with the skirt. I wanted to wear the striped shirt with it, paired it with a brown wide belt to split it up. I needed something more then just the pop of colour in the shirt to hattify the outfit, so I paired matching sheer tights with the outfit.

Why this outfit works: I wanted the tights to match the shirt, they have a little pattern in them (hearts) and the boots to grunge it up and casualfy it (is that a word?) and also match the brown belt. The jean jacket really makes the outfit casual. I needed the sweater for warmth but it also adds another texture and layer that I like so much.

Another version: Bare leg it and put it with some flat shoes or wicked wedges, not hiking boots.

We had the best weather this past weekend in Vancouver. We just walked and walked and walked the beaches. When you're on a three month hiatus from your normal home (Ontario) and schedule, it's hard to tell what is the weekend and what is the week day.

I re-watched death at a funeral last night. Has anyone seen that? It is the funniest movie I have seen in quite a long time, but then again the brit's always get me laughing. Go out and rent it or it's on our beloved net flix, the english version. Hi-llarious!

Also I'm going to see the hunger games this afternoon. I'm probably in the movie theatre right now as your reading this, eating my popcorn and grasping the edge of my seat chair because i'm just so gosh darn excited! I cannot wait to see it!
