I thought I would break this dress out one last time before the pastel and bright colours start flooding the blog for Spring. I got this vintage dress in Toronto. It is hand made, you can tell when you flip it inside out all the hand stitching and work that has been done. I love finding an old patterned dress or skirt in the thrift stores that someone has hand made once upon a time ago. It makes the thrill of the hunt so much better.
I like the little details in this outfit. The bow in my hair, and the bow in the belt. It's all in the tiny details that make an outfit go from blah to hurrah.
What are you doing for Easter? I hope it's a great one spent with friends and family. If you have not told them you loved them in awhile, this weekend is a great chance to do it! Happy almost Friday.

I love the belt! And I am always jealous of your hair! I got a perm to make my hair curly and it still doesnt look like that!

Happy Easter, Hattie! I fell in love with this look the second I saw the little blue bow in your hair - as a sucker for both small details and pretty bows, I couldn't not love it. And the fact that your vintage dress was handmade... I swoon. My high school prom dress was a handmade vintage gown; I'll always have a soft spot for anything with that kind of wonderful story and workmanship behind it :)
